Key Terms, Decoded

Anonymization

Stripping any direct identifiers (like email) from data. We process and store it in a way that you cannot be personally identified from it.

Pseudonymization

Replacing your direct identifiers (like name) with a random code. It’s still linked to you, but without easily revealing who you are.

Data Controller

The legal entity responsible for how your data is used. That’s us, PlayNexy. We answer directly to you and relevant data protection authorities.

Right to Erasure

Also called the "Right to be Forgotten." You can request we delete all personal data associated with your account, which we will do within 30 days.

Access & Portability

Request a copy of your account data in a machine-readable format (JSON). We provide this export once per year free of charge.

Correction & Erasure

Via the Account Settings > Privacy menu, you can correct profile details or initiate a full account deletion. All associated gameplay data is removed.

Third-Party Sharing

We only share data with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS) under strict data processing agreements. We do not share with data brokers.
